i have heard the AJE are one of the best ones
Listen closely, Call my guy Dave the owner of Team Z, tell him I told you to call and tell him to give you a deal or I will deal with him :)

Thanks woody I am looking to put it in with the 347 from you.I hope to go low 11's with the setup.
so that teamZ kmember with the drop mounts would be for putting in a 351W right

or a 302 based motor if you want to get the engine to a lower center of gravity
I've used AJE and QA1. They both fit great. I'd definitely buy a Team Z piece. I've used Dave's control arms and anti roll device in the past and the quality is excellent. I'm sure his K-members will follow suit. I'd go as far as to say Dave makes some of the best products on the market. His customer service is great too.
I talked to team z and upr and they are not buddging in price but team z is a little bit cheaper.I want to know who has used granetelli before I am getting the coil overs k member and a arms for $500 brand new. What 2 get?
cmon some has 2 have an input.Oh yea who has installed one also, are they hard 2 install?

I'm not sure I'm following here. You called Team Z and UPR and tried to jew them down on the price? WTF?

I've used QA1, PA, UPR and AJE. They are all good and fit well. I've used alot of Team Z parts and they have all worked well. I'm sure their K-members are just as good as the rest of their product line. That is the list of products I have used and would use again.
I didnt jew them.LOL.But serious I called them at team z like woody told me to and they couldnt lower it.It is not a big deal its worth a shot.I am just going with UPR since I can pick it up and not have to pay shipping.I am doing it this tuesday coming up.I got the Kmember,a arms, coil overs and caster camber with bump steer kit. What kind of 1/8th mile difference will I see?My suspension has cost me an arm and a leg so far.The rear was like $800 with control arms upper and lower with the anti roll bar and upper and lower torque boxes ,now $1200 on the front.I also have just taken my car to the body shop Monday and will get it tomorrow. My car has been more expensive than a new born, but I love it.

If you asked them to lower the price you were low balling or jewing them down. Of course they are not going to lower the price. That is ridiculous to even think that. That is like going to Walmart and asking them if they will take $9.99 for the pack of toilet paper instead of $11.99.

The UPR stuff will be fine. I personally would have went with Team Z because I've used alot of Team Z products and Dave's craftmanship and quality is unbelievable. Its hard to tell how much of a difference you will see. It depends on how much weight the parts saved you. Probably a couple tenths.

:funnah at the walmart analogy

I think he was just trying with Team Z because Woody told him to call em and say that he said to "give him a good deal"

I realize the forums are lax and all, but don't ya think jewish people might like mustangs too?
Thanks I cant wait to see what a difference it makes.Yea your right I guess I tried jewing them, but I took a shot.I usually never do that but its getting expensive so I tried. My next step after the k member is an 8 point chromemoly cage hooked to my subframes from mustang specialties in Broward county ,FL.They do some nice work and build some sick cars.
So this post is 3 years old, someone's got to have used a granetelli's k-member! i'm actually looking for one now with the A-arms and the coilovers. i know ppl are saying go with the team Z or the maximum motors but granetelli's a lot cheaper. anyone ahve a hard time installing one? i read reviews that u have to slightly modify it to fit
PA Racing k member is what i have. Awesome fitment. Zinc also runs one
cool thanks man i'll check them out. hopefully they're affordable
don't buy **** from UPR.

APC is to imports
as UPR is to mustangs... Flat out copied junk.

I know this thread is old, but I thought the exact same thing about going to walmart...I didn't think of using toilet paper though....

"14.99?...hmm *sniff**tap**shake**listen*...hmm...I give you 10.50!"
granetelli's a lot cheaper.
Do a little digging and you can find out why that is.

I highly recommend going with MaxMo, Griggs, TeamZ, or another reputable company that designs and makes their parts here in the US.
