Just swapped my old 2.1 on to my friends car and we require the original kb tune to get her going. My programmer wont work on his car as mines a 2000gt and his is an 04. Does anyone have the original tune that we could download on his car?

We tried loading the dyno tune my car was dynoed with but it wont run.

What do you mean by doesn't run? Does it turn on and run rough or does it turn over at the least?

ya it runs but not nicely. We need a tune so we can drive her to the shop to put it on the rollers.
With my tune from my car it started and died. When we put it back to stock it runs but it runs rough.

Tunes are written to a particular ecm code. you can tow it to the dyno, pay for a get to dyno tune(maybe the tuner will give you one?) lock bypass open and put stock inj and maf in and drive it to tuner

Email your tuner and see if he can write you a tune for you drive the car their like a little baby.

Ya i fuigered that was just seeing if anyone had some kind of generic canned tune that would work. Have to call our tuner tommarrow and get something setup. Thanks guys.

If you really want, go on craigslist and look for mustangs with a kb and see if you can use their tune :lol
