I have an 89 302 and when I turn the car off about 1 min it pours out by the trans. for 5 sec or so than stops. Car runs at normal temp. Any thoughts?

Check the coolant lines near the firewall that run to the heater core. That will run down right onto the trans. Keep the radiator filled up until you get it fixed.

thats weird that it doesnt leak while running. like no life said, check the heater core hoses. i blew one apart during a burnout once, and it was a mess all over the transmission.

might want to check the radiator cap to, make sure its keeping pressure at 15psi. maybe its over pressurizing when you turn the car off, and the weakest link releases the excess pressure. just a thought.
