I hope someone can PLEASE help with this. So we have a 96 Mustang Gt, no clue what was done to it before we got it. When we got it, it was leaking coolant slightly from the back left corner of the intake manifold (looking from the front of the car). We replaced the gaskets to try to make this stop, however once replacing the gaskets it now SPRAYS coolant out of the (seemingly) same spot. We even put it back together with all the old parts with no luck. Does anyone have an answer as to why, how to fix, etc. Desperate at this point. Thanks!!

Assuming you have the stock plastic intake manifold on your car, there is a very good chance the leaking is due to a crack or chip no the intake manifold itself. More specifically, on the passenger side head, towards the firewall there is a coolant valley that is building enough pressure to make itself through the crack/chip. It's common on these intake manifolds to crack. Replacements are relatively affordable.

If you can, attach a picture of the leak.

The intake that is on it is the one with metal at the front since they tend to crack at the thermostat housing but your description is exactly what's happening pretty much. Maybe after cleaning and changing seals the pressure was just enough to crack it through to spew like that? Just wanna make sure it's not the head itself but we've had issue with it overheating in our possession. And I would attach a picture but because of the location there isn't really a way to see where EXACTLY or what exactly is happening other than coolant spraying out.
