Hello all! Im interested in getting some new tail lights for the stang and wanted to get some in put. I have a sequencer modual that i want to use in conjunction with them (it is solid state so differences in amps and volts wont effect the flash rate, i also have an electronic flasher relay installed.). I found these on ebay 94-98 FORD MUSTANG EURO LED BLACK TAIL LIGHTS LAMP 95:eBay Motors (item 260505523298 end time Nov-21-09 22:31:57 PST) and wanted to know if anyone has them. If so do you like them and do all the lights flash or is it just the outside two like the stock setup.

Also does anyone have any pictures of some wide angle led bulb replacements installed in the stock housings? I like see what it looks like. I want whatever i get to light up the whole housing, not just a dot in the center.

They might look alright if you tinted them. I'm not a fan of chrome tail lights. I think your taillights should blend with the car rather than jump out. It takes away from the lines of the body and breaks up the visual apperance, just like those ugly fuel doors alot of guys add on.

Exactly why the fuel door I have is being painted to match the car. it don't look bad now, but I really don't like the big black dot on the side of the car.

Those are just bulbs though and not the Euro style replacements.

I think they would look fine if tinted... Then they wouldn't look as ricerish...

yeah...rice...someone stop me next time before i even ask...

I like the idea of leds though. I do have another idea. There are led panels you can buy with 1157 plugs (still trying to locate some with 3157 plugs) its an easy conversion though. Anyways, my thought was to cut open the lense and install these panels and then epoxy or possibly use some 3m black weather stripp (the kind that comes in a roll) to reassemble the lens. Otherwise, what i did to make custom tail lights on my tbird was make custom led boards...its alot of work though.

Imo a stang doesn't need any tail lights that aren't stock or look very close to stock (all tinted of course). LEDs inside stock tails would be interesting but once you start putting in ricer tail lights it just starts to look bad. Just my opinion though.

I tend to agree. Thats why when you want a different look it has to be a one-off and not some aftermarket rice. What is amazing though is how much of a market there is for that stuff for the mustang. Its kinda sad that that many people that that poor of taste.
