Alright so I have the GT without defroster or vert top switch, so it has the extra blank button there, and I got to wondering if I could rig it to something else (I don't know what) but I was wondering if it's an actual switch or just there for cosmetics since you can't actually move it... is it locked from behind and able to be used or just for looks?

At the moment, no, but thanks for the offer, I'll look into something like this in the future, just something that crossed my mind.
