I have a customer with a complete takeout from a '98 Lincoln LS. It's the 4.6 4V motor. Does this thing have a forged crank? Teksid block? Good rods? Good heads? Intake suitable for FI? It is worth using as a core to build a 650 rwhp FI motor? It includes a bunch of stuff I won't use like an automatic transmission, radiator, fuel tank, driveshaft, etc and the whole deal is $1500 but I can sell off what I don't need. The motor has 8,000 miles on it.

What I was told, it is a good block but the internals are NOT forged but for that horsepower you should already change your internals anyways.

I would get it just for the block. But nothing else is realy that special on it.

Try ebay, ther eare a couple on there one going for 238 with 70 shipping and one for 400 starting bid with 100+ for shipping. They are 96's though which I believe you would have to modify the coolant passages if you want to make it a 2 v.
