I am relocating my battery to my trunk for "reasons", I just have a couple questions reguarding wires and such...

How much wire do I need: 20ft
What Gauge wire, will speaker (amp wire) wire work: 3 Gauge Wire

How can I wire this in? I am thinking right behind the plate...
Flaming River FR1002 - Flaming River Little Switch Battery Disconnects - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Do I need to run a wire from the Alternator to the switch or can i just run One wire straight back...

This is how I imagine it...

Cut off the stock metal postive clip, then soder or clamp them together...
Run the wire straight back thru the car... Hit the switch first then the Battery??? Neg just connect to the frame...
I will be buying a case in the future...

6 ga is plenty..frame ground is fine...1 wire...and your switch needs to be rated for the correct amps..

250 amp continuous is what you need

make sure to shield the positive wire and solder all connections

where you putting the switch?

I was going to do this but after much research I decided the co$t and risk outweighed the benefits. (all the time to run the wire, drill and fit the box, all the electrical connections etc.) b/c if you mess up in one tiny spot you could have a serious electrical failure. the stupid switch is what broke the camel's back, making it visible for the track, etc.

hope this helps
