I have a 03 2v 4.6 motor that was fully built about 6 months ago for my 03 GT. I am looking to put either a single or twin turbo setup on it. I have several questions regarding what I need and will need to do. Was run on dyno and tuned by SCT here in FL. Best run was 318 rwhp.

1. For a single or twin does it require a new k-member setup?
2. Can stock manifolds be used and modified for the setup?
3. How difficult would this to be done on my own? Ive done some research on turbos and 2V setups but not quite enough.
4. Will my 5 speed hold up to 500-600 hp?

Current setup:

Heavily ported heads w/ upgraded springs built by Lamotta performance.
Crower stage II cams.
Forged .20 Over Pistons
Forged Rods
Many other misc bolt-on's.

i plan to do the same mod down the road. i've looked at several sites and made several calls and the highest quality so far seems to be the Hellion systems. they claim complete bolt on and a tremendous amount of power from one turbo. you will need the tubular K-member, but it is included in the kit. check them out at Hellion Power Systems - The Best Mustang Turbo Kits Available.
good luck!

You will need a tubular k memeber. Your stock exhaust manifolds will work but I don't recomend using them. Also it would be a very good idea to ugrade your transmission
