i was looking online to maybe get some springs and i was wondering what it means when it says "progressive" and "specific" rates

oh and i was also wondering what anybody thinks of what i want to do to my suspension:

BBK lowering springs
MM Caster Camber plates
HPM subframe connectors
and Bilstein Shock and Strut package

thoughts?

progressive means the spring rate increases as the coil is compressed. Specific means the spring rate ramains static as the coil is compressed.

MM Caster Camber plates = very good
Bilstein shocks & struts = very good (I would get the ones that are revalved by MM though)
HPM subframe connectors = I would recommend MM full length SFCs
BBK lowering springs = I would recommend H&R SS or Race springs or even Eibach pro-kit (or sportlines if you wanna be sittin' on the ground).

If you had a full blown race car, I would suggest this Griggs Racing Products:D

Other then what you have listed, I would recommend Lower control arms (adjustable if you visit the track often). Maybe some upper control arms (make sure these are adjustable).

If you're looking for a good road course/DD, then I would start with what is already listed and then build from there off of this list MM Road and Track Box - For 02-04 GT Coupe - StangSuspension.com

If you want a good drag car, I would build off of this list Maximum Motorsports :: The Leader In Mustang Performance Suspension

Will the Eibachs give you a much stiffer ride if you run stock shocks?

Yes. Also, your stock shocks won't last long with a good drop.

Alright, who makes the best overall shock? I haven't done much research on the shocks yet. Thanks
