I got a set of used MM CC plates to install but its missing one of the spacers that goes in between the top of the strut tower and the middle plate. Does anyone think it would be a bad idea to supplement this with a stack of appropriately sized washers? I don't want to have to buy the whole replacement hardware kit for $20 if I can get away with only spending a couple of dollars. (Note: these are not the spacers that go on the strut shaft)

Why not take another washer with you to ACE hardware and match it up rather than using a stack of small washers?

Well thats pretty much what I mean. I've been to autozone and Lowes and haven't had any luck finding a 1/4" thick washer to match it. Going to try Home Depot tomorrow. Not realy any convenient Ace hardware for me.

Try the internet as well. It'll be about the same price, just have to wait for it to show.
