Hey yall, im helping my friend replace the axle on his sebring and we have come to a problem. The axle snapped in two (it didnt really snap, but it separated)
here is what the new axle looks like, and what the one I took off looks like
new:

old:

Anyway, I took off that part of the axle, but the other part is still in the transmission:

Anybody know how to remove that part? I feel like there is a clip at the end of the axle that is preventing it from just popping out...
Any help would be really appreciated, thanks!

If you can get whole of.it good push in on it and then give it a firm jerk it should pop out it does have a ring inside the transaxle (transmission) that the groove on the end of the axle goes into.
