anyone got it? im applying for an installer job at best buy (im not a huge fan of best buy but its a job) and they want the mecp basic installer certification.

i guess the better question is anyone have the study guide they want to sell me? haha

ive done alot of mobile electronics work so i know most of the basics but you never know it all, anyone taken the test and can speak on how difficult it is?

holy **** your master certified? isnt there only like 100 in the nation that are master certified? i saw that there are 12 here in washington.

i looked up whats on the test and i will definitely have to brush up on my ohms law and basic electronics stuff(diodes capacitors ect)

ok thanks for the info man, i dont plan on staying there forever but i need a job, i had a valet job lined up that payed 600+ a week but the asshole that handles that job wont call me back

yeah i can understand that a custom shop is wayyy better then best buy but as of right now i dont really have a resume, which they all want, ive only done landscape work and installs for friends and family as a job, nothing official.

but who knows if ill get a response since 99% of jobs want you to apply online. i hate applying online i feel like no one even looks at your application, and when i try to go talk to the hiring manager i just get sent to diff people and hassled.
