so I bought a catted h-pipe off a 98 gt thinking it would fit my 99 no problem, well doesnt and I looked on ebay and seems like there is some sort of difference? not sure what the difference is? basically the passenger side I could get to bolt up but the drivers side bracket seemed wayyy off and too big, I ended up just putting the stock cats back on for smog but I still want to get this on the car. just looking for any suggestions. im going to go to my schools shop to use a lift sometime this week so anything helps.

its a bbk if I remember right off the top of my head(at work right now). its not that the pipe itself doesnt line up its that the bracket doesnt line up with the studs on the header at all.

the drivers side manifold is different fron 98 to 99 --- (99 has a smaller outlet...) My buddy has a 98 and I have an 00.... we bolth have the same bbk "X" pipe except that mine came with a reducer sleeve for the drivers side... although the flange should bolt up... it will just leak....
