I would have installed it with the old wire. And then when the new one came I would switch them out. That way at least you wouldn't have to :banghead:banghead:banghead
Oh. Didn't know that. You know, Patience is a Virtue.I thought of that but the problem is I have the Paxton in the way so I have to remove the intake manifold to take the alternator out upwards. One of the screws from the Paxton brace goes where one of the alternator screw goes. So I did'nt want to go trhu that hassle twice.

Isn't that 20 years of agony?Bro I waited to buy my stang since I was 13. I'm 33 now that's 10 years of agony and now that I have it now I realize what a stang freak I am. And to top it off drive my wife's Civic.
I know man I just did'nt want to go thru the hassle of taking the fuel rails and injectors out as well and the whole drill behind all that.Just take the intake off twice. It has reusable gaskets and it comes off in a matter of minutes. Sounds like you might just need a reason to bitch. If so, then ignore me and go ahead and let it out.
I have the satin one as well. I started to use the dremmel brush but those are too weak. Maybe I'm being a little too rough. Send a pm with pics to see how they look. I might do the same.Mr. Stang, do you have the polished kit? If not, have you tried polishing it? I think I may polish mine this winter. Was about to shine my exhaust tips today and decided to hit S/C and Power Cooler with some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish, then pulled out the Power Ball that I have never used. Turned out pretty good for 25 minutes of work. I think this winter I'll do it for real with my die-grinder and a lightly abrasive disc, see how that does.
