For those who would like to know, I've weighed each and every part that I've removed from my latest car. I know I've always been curious about what parts weigh and where to save weight so I figured I'd share the info. I used Intercomp scales which are accurate within .01% so the weights are accurate. great idea too. maybe we could sticky a "shipping costs table" in the for sale/wanted forum with prices per weight for shipping from popular companies like fed ex and ups...

Prices change constantly, not really a good idea. Plus, theirs like 4 major companies now and they charge based not only on weight but also package size.

This is a great list for getting started with a weight reduction project.
