I have a brand new clutch that doesnt start engaging until the very top (where the clutch rests). I would like it to start engaging more towards the floorboard. What do I need to buy to get it adjusted correctly? Something about a clutch cable/quadrant?


This is the clutch I have if it matters.

Stock quadrant has an adjuster. Pull up on the pedal with your toes till it clicks. Then push down all the way to the floor. Repeat a couple times until the desired engagement position is achieved.

Okay I'll try that after work. So just put my toes under the pedal and pull it up towards the steering wheel until it clicks? Is it a noise or a click feeling? Don't know too much about clutches

Yup you'll hear it and feel it click. It's easy. Just do it a couple times. Too much and you'll stretch the cable eventually.

Oh okay thanks! it's gonna go towards the floor as far as engagement goes right? I dont wanna make it go the wrong direction lol.
