Is it slipping because it’s old? How much boost are you making and is the tensioner ok? You can use a shoe string and get close. Go to an auto parts store and see if you can try a few on in the parking lot.
Need a new belt but don't know what size to get
I have a 00 GT with a Vortech V-2 Procharger and the belt is slipping and costing me like 30 hp, my alternator just died so I will have to take the procharger off to fix that anyways so i wanted to change the belt. I don't know what size belt to get, I read on a 10 year old forum that 108" is my best bet but can anyone tell me for sure? Any response is greatly appreciated
