Does anyone have suggestions on the easiest way to change the timing chain guides on a 01 GT? I'm hoping there is a way to change the guides without removing the chains from the gears and having to re-time everything.

its easy to do. not a big deal to remove everything and put it back together. the 2v is very easy and fairly quick.

yes, but its a lot more work. if you dont want to take the chains off, you will need to take off all the followers so the cams wont jump whey you pull the tensioner.

just pull the chains off, replace what you are going to, put #1 tdc, align the marks on the chains to the gears, install the tensioners, pull the pin, and go.

edit: not sure what i was thinking when i posted that, you need to pull the followers anyways unless you set all the timing marks before you pull the tensioners and lock everything in place.
