Yeah. My parents are extra careful from their own car crash experiences. I don't think I'll convince them otherwise, out of respect. There are quite a few new edge 3.8 and 3.9s for sale where I live, so I'll stick to that.I got a v6 for my first car and from a person that's experienced it, the gas mileage is very similar to both the v6 and v8. I will say for a first car a v8 could be a bad idea for some people. I'm not saying you couldn't handle it but I'm just saying consider it in your decision.
They are "peppy" to a degree but can be made to be quicker. Just depends how much you're willing to invest in it. For me it's all sentimental now - I can't sell a car I've owned for 12 years, that was the first one I've ever owned, now that has never let me down (excpet for several stoplight drags :hidinghere: )Lol. I think it can do 0-60 in something like 7.5 which isn't absolutely terrible and I'm not sure about the 1/4 mile time, but it probably isn't amazing. I just want something that looks good and has some pep in it's step.
