I have a 99-04 flaming river manual rack laying around. Does anyone know why it doesn't fit in fox's?

My guess would be that I need to cut some threads off each end so the tie rod ends are moved in a little..

Pribably the place where the steering shaft goes on is differrent, or as you said, its just too wide. Not sure if you can cut the 1.5" off each side and it still be useable or not?

Might be worth a try to just mock it up and see if it fits. If not there's really no harm done.

That's what im thinking. THe place where the steering knuckle bolts on is the same I believe. I would just need a different knuckle.

The innards are how they need to be cut realistically. It's a the track width that causes an issue. You can make it work, but you are gonna have to adapt a different steering shaft to the car, and make the tie rods loose 3/4 inch on each side.
