I replaced the POS plastic quadrant with a billet BBK quadrant and I also put a BBK adjustable clutch cable on. I love it. It's smooth, engages right where I want it to, and a replacement I'd do over 1,000 times. But, now when my clutch pedal is free (I'm not pressing on it), the damn thing vibrates. I'm worried that the vibrations are messing with the cable and in turn unnecessarily rubbing the throwout bearing against the pressure plate. Any thoughts on this? Is it a problem or is it just an annoyance?

its normal when switching to an aftermarket quadrant. the stock piece is spring loaded and keeps tension on the pedal. Aftermarket ones are not so there is a bit of slack. its just an annoyance. you can look at getting a clutch pedal stop that will take car of most of it
