Hello Guys and Gals,
I'm new to this but thought id introduce myself. My name is Ray, My dream since i was a little kid (im 18 now) was to own a Mustang well my dream is going to come true in Jan of 2010. Because December 17th i will graduate The Pittsburgh Pa I.U.O.E (International Union Of Operating Engineers) Heavy Equipment Mechanic program so i will be able to afford to buy one and build n customize it. The best part is that i'm moving to Florida Jan 2nd to live with my dad so i will be able to drive it all year round! I'm thinking about buying a 1999-2004 It has To be a V8 and Stick so in turn HAS to be a GT lol. well if you all have any help on builds or want to introduce your self or anything to say to me feel free to write back Thank You~ KEEP STANGING AND BANGING~

Welcome brother! Your at the right place for information and people that share the same passion for mustangs. I vote for a 2000 or a early 2001, just my 2 cents. A couple of things though were here to help, just remember to try to do some research on the forum before you post a thread you will find alot of info that way. :)

welcome to the site and the hobby...what is your ultimate goal for the car? what are your expectations? 99-04 or even the 94-98 body styles are a good place to start...chassis parts will be farly cheap as they are almost all identical from '79-'04 lol

low twelves are doable a number of ways...2v with a blower, 2v with cams and good suspension, 2v with some go go spray, 4v na, or 4v FI..all things to think about lol
