Okay.. I'm loving the LCA on the car. What suspension mod should I pursue next?

I want to do suspension mods first before going to power mods.

FYI, I have Roush suspension with STB already.

I think the 2007 427R comes with the upgraded UCA so next I'd go adjustable panhard if the UCA is upgraded.

Not suspension but one of the best mods for keeping the rear end power to the ground is an Eaton Truetrac.

How did you come to this conclusion? Helical gear differentials are best for autoX or road course racing. I would never recommend the Truetrac for anyone who drag races. The design is not meant for it. I know a lot of people use them for that which is a great testament to their durability and stoutness. But they are not designed for launching a car, especially one with any power.

Since it was not specified I assumed he was looking for all around, not drag racing. If he's looking for drag racing performance you are correct. My conclusion is based on my experience.

Since we are in that subject, what would be an ideal diff for drag racing? That is also streetable, of coarse.

Spools are the best for drag racing but suck on the street. They power the inside wheel when turning and can be very clunky. I have driven them on the street but are very annoying.

They do make locker rear ends that are a spool when locked and act as an open differential when unlocked. Auburn makes a locker unit the acts as an LSD when unlocked. There were questions of durability though so I steered clear. The problem was a little brass pin that had an issue of shearing off. Supposedly this issue has been now resolved. This is a very popular unit in the 4x4 crowd. In theory it would be the best for a street/strip car.

I went with an Auburn LSD, the Auburn pro series. Eaton Posi and Yukon Duragrip are basically the same as the Auburn as far as a performance LSD. The difference being that the Auburn is not rebuildable because they use different kind of clutches.

So basically I would recommend a good LSD for a dual purpose car. Ideally the Auburn ECTED locker unit would be the best so long as it durability issues have been resolved.
