ok soo some people know that i recently purchased a wet nitrous system anyone have any good right ups on installing a wet kit on a 99-04 mustang v6 or gt? pics and step by step would be nice...

thanks to all that want to help.....

thanks man u got anywrite ups for the nitrous install it self like solinoids and jets and stuff?

like step by step install like one that would come with a brand new nitrous kit just step by step directions on how to installa wet kit.

find a place where you want to mount the bottle

test fit and then mount the bottle

pull a rubber plug out of the trunk floor near the opening of the bottle

find location for nozzle

find location for solenoids, remember length of line from solenoids will dictate where the solenoids will need to be mounted

run the line from the bottle to the solenoid underneath the car. remember to to tie it up well and to keep it away from pinch points and heat scources.

mount the WOT switch

mount the toggle switch inside vehicle

(those with a msd digital window switch)
find a place to mount you window switch

run a switched 12+ wire to the window switch and toggle switch

run black wire form msd window switch to a chassis ground

run 12+ wire from toggle to WOT

12+ from WOT to solenoids

hook ground wire from solenoids to yellow wire on msd window switch

hook white wire to left wire on any coil

check all connections to make sure all are good.

turn on key

set window switch to cyl. 1, on set point of your choice, and off at your choice

arm system, make sure there is a 12+ at the wot switch from toggle with a volt meter

unhook wire from WOT to solenoids, close contact, and use volt meter to check for 12+ coming out of the WOT switch.

hook solenoid wire back on WOT switch, close WOT switch contact, cheack to make sure both solenoids are working

turn off key


install fuel fitting on fuel rail or install the frps adaptor

run fuel line from fitting/adaptor to the fuel solenoid

install jets for desired shot of n2o

go have bottle filled

unhook line off nitrous solenoid, and crack bottle open for a second of two to clear out the line.

hook line back up and make sure all lines and fittings are tight.

make sure bottle pressure is up to 950psi+ and take out for initial test run.

this is just general instructions. remeber that spark plugs will need to be change, tune may be required, fuel pump may be needed for larger shots, etc. supporting mods are needed, but this is just for the kit itself.

Thats a Pretty nice write up..considering you prolly just wrote that off the top of your head.

:yes i was at work too. it is only one way to do it. some people have a little different set up, but is pretty close to the same.
