ok this could be the wrong section but the car is a 5.0 so ne ways.

this is a really newb question but..... ive never actually raced a manual trans mission and seem to maybe get to much slippage from the stock clutch when i go to let it out,

can any of you more experienced ppl offer tips on launching hard and properly?

On the street? Your not going to launch hard on the street no matter what you do. If you insist on trying, so be it. Dont slip the clutch to long.. let it out as fast as possible, with as much throttle as you can apply without breaking traction.

On the track with slicks? Thats a different story. :D

unless u have some radials and the pounds are low in them, for the street if you keep trying to slip the clutch it is just going to burn it out. Like the other guy said just try and get into first as fast as possible with out breaking traction. U will get the feel for what throttle range to launch at.
