The more **** you do, the more it drags out. Stay golden (and simple) pony boy. Turbo tax saying I am going to get $600 back, when I used my car on call and didn't get reimbursed from the company that totaled $772. Really, you didn't find any problems on my return? Not filing with you :lol

I did my taxes myself through H and R blocks website. Yes, I did have to pay to do it, but not as much as if I would have went in and had one of their "Professionals" do it. Plus, they make it really easy on their site, so the 20 bucks is money well spent IMO. Now if you pay the extra fees to have that 20 bucks taken from your return, than that is stupid.

I use their(H&R Block) free version for federal and then because I make under $25k a year I file state taxes for free through a different site.

Well, its free unless your start claiming dependents and exemptions. I had to upgrade to the basic to claim dependents and a few exemptions. And I think it might have been more, I think it was 50 for both state and federal. Not bad. Since I am a full time student and didn't make **** last year, I got a decent chunk back.

The thing with H&R block is they for the most part aren't any more knowledgeable than you. They are just punching numbers in the same as you would using their online system. One year I did mind myself then went to Jackson Hewitt before submitting it to see if they could get me more. The came to the exact same amount but wanted me to pay 70 bucks. I said no thanks. Went homr clicked submit on turbo tax for 29 bucks.

LOL Same here, just thought I'd mention it. I had a complicated year when my dad passed away, I took on the family land, had to deal with property taxes, 3 different state returns, etc... so I just took it all to them and let them sort it out. lol

I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years now. Simple as hell to do (even with all the different 10-99's I had to enter) and only cost $20 to file federal and state. I got $2200 back :D
