275 need a 9in wide rim to fit on correctly. They might fit on 17x8s...but theyll prolly bulge on the sides some. 275 on a 17x7 isnt happening.

go with something more like uh ... well you can put a 275... they will bulge like half flat truck tires but thats okay

245 should be the widest you go... also if you have the rims with you just take a measuring tape to them to find the width

i've had the rims on my car for a while now. i was just curious about when my front tires wear out (they're older than the ones on the back) if i could put 275's, so i called and asked a friend from where i bought the rims, what the width was. she said it should be 17x7... you think i cant go any frikkin wider than 245? i have 245/45 on the back right now... maybe i can squeeze like 255/50 or 255/45

i want it a little taller sooo... is there a 255/(50)? if so it'll fit in the back right... i think it should.

yur not gonna get good traction on 245s or 250s. Yur best bet would be to try to find the same wheel you have but wider for the rear. preferably 9.....10.5 is overkill unless yur pushin crazy power and you need a really wide tire. 245/45/17s in the front is fine tho.
