Just changed oil the oil was in the car over the winter it was black is that good or bad, Car is a garage queen and only had 2000 mi on the oil, the car is cammed delete plates, pullies 410 gears. The old oil is 5w20 Royal Purple.

Color doesn't matter. If it smells real bad (burnt) that is not good...but the best way to tell is to send some in for oil analysis. Establish a baseline and evaluate every so often during the life of your car.

Generally it's normal. You will get blowby past the rings on any engine, and that tends to put carbon and gasoline into the oil. As DiMora said, unless it has a very distinctive burnt smell, you're ok.
