Well I am suprised this thread hasn't had a ton of posts and arguments like most cam threads go. But one thing I was trying to get across .... A cam should be the LAST mod you do. You have to know EVERYTHING about the car in order to get the cam right. This month has been full of new kids coming here and asking whats the biggest cam they can put in their NON modded car cause they want it to sound cool.....sounding cool doesnt mean running good kiddos.

A way to look at it: A cam is like a rear gear, you have to have a goal to attain, or some direction. You want power to build to the shiftpoint, and you want it to still make power around the rpm you cross the line at, while at the same time making as much average hp as possible.

That I don't know, was someone else that decided that was the way to go. I do not know much about cams so I put it in his hands with confidence he would make the right decisions. Its a little lopey, sounds great, but very street friendly.
