I was just going to say the same thing. The Eforce is a TVS.

Direct quote from Edelbrock:

"The core of the system is the all new Eaton Gen VI TVS® Supercharger rotating assembly; the four lobe design features 160° of twist for maximum flow, minimum temperature rise and quiet operation for excellent drivability. These complete packages include throttle body, supercharger assembly, intake manifold with an industry exclusive 15" long runners, 110 square inch air-to-water intercooler, heat exchanger, proper spark plugs, handheld DiabloSport flash programmer with proper calibration, installation accessories and engine covers that offer a clean, custom look. 50-State emissions exemption order pending."

Also The paxton is not a bad unit, just different. I want a car I can take to a 1/4 mile track and a road course and drive on the street and have it rape in all those places.

remeber, torq and throttle response are great and all, but will always be limited by how much traction you have and how much of a beating your drivetrain can take.

on these cars I am a way bigger fan of the way centri chargers build the boost. since the power doesn't hit as hard as a roots or a lysolm you can run more power before worrying about cooking pistons, wrecking transes, ect.

i have noticed that most peeps who recommend a centri unit have either never ridden in a twin-screwed, tvs car and/or have no idea how much better they feel under acceleration..

The highlighted Italic statment is almost completly innaccurate. Also, if you set your car up for a PD blower you can get just as much/little traction as a centri blower. Its all in the way you set up your suspension. Also, your only going to be melting pistons because of bad tuning. Not because of what type of forced induction your using. If that were the case, no one would ever used PD blowers.

The paxton is a really solid unit, And I might still pick it, It is 50/50 at this point. I don't mind where the power comes in with a paxton, brenspeeds kit pushes out 12 lbs and makes nice power.

And I won't have to sell:
Steeda race plates
GT 500 TB and Adapter kit
4.10's

I vote Paxton, but I like centri's better. You have better ability for traction and it pulls like a freight train as far as you wanna push it. My good friend has the Paxton running 12.5 lbs boost on the stock bottom end and ran an 11.6 at 120 mph with his intercooler pipe coming loose around the 1100 ft mark.....pretty freaking nice in my opinion.

I have ridden in twin-screw cars. Have you ridden in centri cars? What times are you running at the track?
