In my opinion, driving style is a bigger factor on whats better for daily driving than the type of forced induction. With most of the new PD blowers, you can't even tell they are there until you get into it. As far as "easier" to get traction at the track, I beg to differ. Sure off the hit maybe, but you still have to deal with the top end comming on like a frieght train with a centri or a turbo. If your having troubles getting traction with a PD blower you need to make changes to your suspension and maybe your driving style.

It's still easier to get out of the hole with a centri. The fastest s197 was justin burchum with a centri

Sure is, Centri and nitrous. But can you really compare his car to your's or the OP's car? Also, I'm sure that the reason he runs a centri is because its easier to get out of the whole? We are talking about a daily driver, not a race car. Also, Vinny Barber still has the fastest single power adder S197. Thats a turbo car. Not a centri.

Your right. My bad. :p Either way, in the end it comes down to driving style. I think the OP should drive both and then pick. Better to make a informed decision based on experience. Both are good kits and I'm not saying a PD blower is better than a Centri. They are both great, just suited to two differen't driving styles.

I vote E-Force, but like a few have said, I'd go with the Roush TVS over it. Yes it's quite similiar but the Roush TVS looks a 100x better than the E-Force, IMO. If you do get the Edelbrock just don't run all of the billboard plastic bullshit.

I like centri's the most. Better for daily driving and easier to hook at the track.
How's it better for daily driving?

Paxton All the Way Bro!!! I agree with the driving style opinion. I guess it's a matter of preference on how you want your car to feel. But I go with Paxton for the the experience in the industry and the fact it helps a lot if you want to look like a sleeper at first and give the surprise later everywhere you go.

Squidly,
I didn't vote because I already praised your ability to make a decision. So being that you came to the conclusion that you were going to get the Paxton already, I would have to say that would be the best choice for you to reach your end goal.
If you do decide to go twin screw I would probably agree with Mickey, Whipple, Roush TVS, and KB, would all be in front of the e-force, and probably in that order.

Better for daily driving because the Power doesn't come on till after 3500rpm. That means u can maintain a stock feel for around town and a beast on th highway or track.
Juco, i can drive my car around town like it has 100hp...so thats bullshit

it doesnt matter where the power comes in..it matters if you keep your foot out of the gas or not

realistically, that gives PD blowers an advantage...you can drive it like there is nothing there, or if you stomp on it, you have power from 2k-7k...whereas if you have a centri, you only build boost from 3500 and on

the 560rwhp centri car will obviously be faster than the 475rwhp PD blown car...im not arguing that...I am saying the 475rwhp PD blown car will FEEL as fast as a 560rwhp centri blown car..

mike, laugh all you want dude, i have driven both and I KNOW how they feel compared to one another...

I know what you are talking about mickey, I drove a 13 second lightning and it was just as fast or slower than my 2006 GT, but it felt faster. I just want a car mid to low 11's(high 10's later maybe) and beast on the street. I have not lost to anyone lately but I want to make sure I don't in the future and I want the powah!

^the man knows his ****!
Mickey and I are cool. I trust his judgement. And he knows my HP guessing skills :D But I do trust him.
