The nice thing about photo sites is how these posts will long survive the images uploaded to those accounts.

Every time I find some cool information in an old forum post somewhere, I always find the images gone or removed and end up quite annoyed.

I personally try to upload to the local forum so the pics survive with the text. Basically so people searching two years from now can still see everything.

I know I'd be pissed if my GT priced car was now barely faster than a V6 and gets worse mileage.

2010 owners must really be slapping themselves for not waiting. Or they just don't care and should have got a Hyundai since cars are so uninteresting :)

Personally I think the 2010 people just paid for a 2005 GT with a body kit and CAI. The next real GT in the 2010 styling is the 2011.

Only downfall i can find seems to be the "skip shift" feature.

2011 Ford Mustang GT at 2010 Detroit Auto Show | The Carlovers Magazine

Part of the credit for the fuel economy figures goes to the six-speed transmissions, which replace the five-speed ones in the 2010 Mustang GT. I was a little disappointed to learn that the six-speed manual has "skip-shift," a fuel-saving provision that forces the shifter from first to fourth gear under modest acceleration. It’s an annoying feature in a muscle car, though one that gear heads will find a way to disable.

ok .. i got a base 2010 for 28,700 dollars. add that with the 7000 edelbrock e force super charger ... hmm 315 hp add 200hp form the super charger .... 515 hp so for 35,700 i will have a mustang that will not onily blow away the 2011 5.0 but the 2010 cobra as well ... for the same price as a 2011 5.0 ... im still thinking i made a good choice .
You only mention brake horsepower but not wheel. You're making roughly 270 to the ground stock. Add the blower and you're probably making mid 400s to the ground. Around here we dont generally use brake horsepower ratings, but rather wheel. I dont care what you make at the motor, I only care what you put to the pavement.

The 540hp GT500 stock is putting down 510 to the ground. Of course that means its actually making way more than 540 crank.

Those are just a pulley and tune away from even more power. Also they have forged motors capable of 1000hp all day long AND they hold the value in a resale because Joe Hick didn't put the blower on in his garage backwards.

You also forget the 5.0 can be blown too..... It also has a forged crank. And MSRP is not much more than your car. Personally I'd rather turbo one though with the new Ti-VCT. Turbo tuning with variable valve timing is much cooler. You can tune in some spool or tune out the lag.... you truly have more control now with forced induction.

Also you have a 5spd which will not hold nearly the kind of power the new 6spd will, or the TR6060 6 speed in the GT500 will.

Should I continue? I was trying to be subtle above and not list all the reasons here. I'm not trying to be mean at all, just NO WAY the 2010 was a better buy. Not even close unless the 5.0 has major issues/recalls.

i am ignorant but not that much to call out all the chevy owners lol.
