For all you wheel sizing guru's out there, would an 18 x 10 wheel with an offset of 25mm (1") fit ok on the rear of an 05+ Mustang GT?

IMO, no

They will stick out too much. Stock rims have 45mm offset. Here's a pic of 18x9's with 25mm offset. 18x10's would be even worse.

Ok, thank you for the replies. I'm hoping Juco will pick up on this thread and post up his thoughts.

Next question Once again on the same 18 x 10 rims, which of these 2 tires do you all recommend purely in terms of performance on the drag strip.

1. Mickey Thompson ET Street radial II 305/35R18, 26.4" diameter.
2. M&H Racemaster 275/45R18 28" diameter.

The car in question is a 2005 GT Automatic with Whipple HO making approx 460RWHP. Stock springs and dampers. BMR UCA, BMR LCA's. Dynotech 1 piece D/S with BMR safety loop.

The owner is a keen drag racer but it is also a street car. Biggest problem on the strip is traction at launch. Currently running 285/30R20 Toyo Proxes T1-R's. Best time around 12.60.

Would really appreciate any advice on this.
