Yeah that is true. I would be happy with 700rwhp anyways! haha
I've been in and driven high horsepower cars before but it isn't the same as owning one. You can never truly push someone's car as near as hard as you can push your own. Even 663rwhp is mind blowing to own. Plenty enough to **** with anything on the streets, at the drag strip, or on the road course with confidence. If you get beat, you won't even feel bad because you can say a probably built 700rwhp+ car beat you. You can still outrun 99.99% of cars on the road.

Glad you stuck with it man, Car sounds mean, and of course a 600+ RWHP GT500 is always nice too :)
Appreciate it man. It sounds absolutely nasty in person. :yes

That is how I would feel lol. I have 504rwhp right now and I want more.

Maybe when I graduate in a couple years with my Bachelors and get a better paying job.

I can swing it right now, but it wouldn't be smart.
Also, I have to decide if I am serious because that would mean not to mod the 10 anymore (just bought a bare block for it).

Those are rainbow numbers! Literally, nasty! I'm driving from Port Lavaca to Houston tomorrow going to a Dr. on Greenbrier about my throat cancer treatment. You near the Montrose area? I lived off Richmond on Dunlevy. I'd like to see that pony and hear it in person. I'll be in houston by 10:00 am and will stay a few hours.

I'm up on the NW side between Spring and Tomball. I'm dropping the car off at the paint shop in a couple hours so I won't have it for this time you're here. Definitely hit me up next time you come through and we'll go grab lunch or something. :yes

Forgot to mention, these happened. I'll install them after I get the car back from paint. Pair of Corbeau CR1s in suede. Got Corbeau 4 Point Harnesses and a Corbeau Harness Bar too. :rockon

Hey Rainbow. I'm in NW Houston as well. Where are you taking the car to get dyno'd? And are you having them tune it as well?

I use Chris' Car Doc over in Humble. Their prices are better than any other performance shop I've gotten quotes from, and they do quality work and stand behind it completely if there are any problems. Highly recommend them. 80%+ of the cars in there are Foxes or SN95/New Edges so your car would certainly be in good hands there.

I had paid for Lund remote tuning before I found Chris' shop. Turned out Chris was a dealer for Lund Racing as well so no big deal there. He does his own tuning, especially on New Edges and older that Lund doesn't want any part of.

Perfect! That's exactly who I planned on going to when I need to.

Thanks man. It handles remarkably well for how front heavy it is. I've thrown it into some pretty good corners and it's handled them fine. I'll eventually get the car onto some road courses to see how far I can push it. The Ridetech coilovers are great though. Ridetech didn't have a problem bumping up my spring rates a little bit to compensate for the iron block.

That's really what I'm building the car for though. It'll probably never see a pass on the drag strip. I wanted to build a handling 07-09 iron block GT500 because nobody expects it out of these cars. :D
You have no idea how much that tickles my pickle. Too many morons (at least where I live) buy all that stuff just to drive it in a straight line or just to be part of the cool crowd who hangs out at the local rundown movie theater on Friday nights, when there isn't even a track close by and the local theater owners run them off the property anyway. You do have quite the laundry list there...I bet your parts pile was as big as mine at some point. That's a beautiful car...keep it up.

Thanks for the compliments. I don't plan on stopping with the mods anytime soon. :D

I had my fun at the drag strip in the 5.0. It's just not as fun as road course/AutoX. I was hooked immediately after doing AutoX for the first time. :yes

That's about as big as the pile ever got. I usually did installs as I got the parts. I've got a Shelby American Watts Link laying around that I need to put on. Eventually I'll build the engine with an aluminum block and have every single piece of aftermarket suspension you can throw on one of these cars. Full cage and also pick up a squared wheel setup from Trueforged. No need for more power, I'm more than happy at the current levels. It'll be a track monster though. :naughty:

What pulley are you running? Metco still? Or does it not work with the VMP TVS?

Low 18. Don't have an exact number because I forgot to get my printout that day. Whenever the car goes back for the transmission build, I'll get it the dyno sheet.
