okay guys... replacing my rear left axle shaft this weekend. Already pulled it out and ready to throw the new bearing, seal and axle in. My question is that the new axle shaft doesn't have the bolts in it yet. so how do I put them in? I already used a hammer to tap them past the abs ring so now I just need to press them in somehow. Can I just wait until I put the wheel back on and tighten the crap out of them to pull them into the metal?

Are you talking about the Studs?
If so, the best way is with a Impact wrench.

put the stud through the hole, put a few washers on the outside, with some anti sieze between everything, then, put an open ended lug nut on, use the Impact gun to Hammer it home. It will pull the stud into the hole.

Thats the best way.

If you dont have an impact gun... well, not sure. Never did it any other way.
