Is that their words on the z forum? LOL. The zs will get owned. look at road racing with Z's , mustangs, porches. total ownage they dont even compete.
LOL. Dude if money wasnt an issue for me right now Id register this second. Is it next year or this year? Next year might be doable but not this year. Id drive out there in a minute i dont care about road trips I drive out west all the time to hunt.
Thats a really cool competition they have though. I hope enough stangbangers that have seen a road course are in it. Brakes and tires on a gt and the cars are equal and from there on mod for mod its american torque the Zs have to chase. I have an instructor that races a fr500s and owns a 350z he always told me basically the cars drive the same on the track once you get rid of the stock pirellis and address the brakes.

We need a better driver then me I suck. Be interesting to see what rules the have for mods, its doesnt sound like they have them. But we can do stock for stock. We need a stang with some basic brake upgrades, braided lines, fluid and pads cant be considered mods. and run some cooling ducts and take of the dust shields, again that cant be called a modification. 3.73s are an option right so that can be called stock. and whatever the tire rules are.
These guys are going by some car and driver BS. The stang is a different animal after you dump the 235 tires

You need braided lines or you won't last two laps. Trust me on this one. You need racing fluid as well the stock **** boils you get air in the lines.
