- Own a (recent model) Mustang GT (street legal, DOT approved tires, current registration and insurance)

- Have track experience

- Live in L.A or surrounding counties – or willing to drive

- Come fully trash talk equipped and ready to be on camera

We really need to get someone out there who's got a car that's set up well for both events and the owner can drive well to spank the hell out of em.

I don't have any idea why we're being put up against a Datsun. Anyone know?

We should start a "Send Rich to Forum Wars" fund... It's funny that the 350z site wont load but makes no mentions about non registered members viewing a page. I cant get it to load on my computers... Ohh well

lol dude your bone stock 350z makes 305 hp on a v6 and my bone stock makes 315 on a v8 (even though im not bone stock and i make 445)

Id like to try it, if i was back home. But i dont think my N/A saleen would be able to fly as just a gt anyways.

LOL. I appreciate it. But I dont think my car is what they are looking for

We need a better driver then me I suck. Be interesting to see what rules the have for mods, its doesnt sound like they have them. But we can do stock for stock. We need a stang with some basic brake upgrades, braided lines, fluid and pads cant be considered mods. and run some cooling ducts and take of the dust shields, again that cant be called a modification. 3.73s are an option right so that can be called stock. and whatever the tire rules are.

These guys are going by some car and driver BS. The stang is a different animal after you dump the 235 tires

Here is the thing. From what the guy said unless i'm missing something he said they are looking for "two cars" as "close to stock as possible"

So its just a one on one thing? And as close to stock as possible means what? My car is a close to stock as I "possibly" want it

Hell... I'll run down there just to get out of the cold for a week. do ya think they know what a KB sounds like... I think I could get by on stock brakes with brand new hawk pads.. my vert corners like it is on rails and when the surface is good and I might have to sandbag a little in the 1/4..

You need braided lines or you won't last two laps. Trust me on this one. You need racing fluid as well the stock **** boils you get air in the lines.
