I don't really want to pay $80 for a beat up OEM manual and I'm not sure a Chilton or a Hayne's manual will cut it. I would like something for wiring diagrams and instructions on removing/reinstalling stuff like the dash. I know Hayne's is a pain in the ass about this stuff and probably doesn't have a lot of stuff that I don't already know.

Youll need a wire diagram book. The service manuals dont show all the wiring diagrams.

Dash removal is pretty easy too. Just look at the bolts for it, ive removed mine twice to replace the heater core....twice :(

Its a pain in the ass but it doesnt take THAT long

I'm not to worried about taking the dash apart, but I would love to have a wiring diagram to eliminate some of the **** I don't need. Also for any wiring "surprises" I find I want to know exactly what the wire(s) do so I can affect the correct repairs.

Bleh.. I may just have to drop the coin on OEM manuals. So far I haven't found a Wiring diagram or service manual separate. Bleh.. I really don't wanna use fleabay but I may have to on this one.

Edit: Fuh.. Even more expensive on Ebay than they are on Amazon.. LoL Damn!

The Haynes manuals have 81-86 wiring diagrams but they are small and poorly printed in terms of quality. The diagrams are a mix of v8, 4 cylinder, and v6 wiring so you have to pay close attention when following them. Everything blends together after a while and your eyes go nuts.
