Nice man! My brother and I are in the process of painting the 90 lx we just bought. Have everything prepped now I just need to find the time to prime and paint it! We took off as much of the car as possible to make it easier for us being first time painters.

Thanks again ken, and yeah it will end up coming out. I did read on a good write up that you have to be easy not to break the rear bottom corner when sanding. So idk if some are plastic and some are metal? I don't have an answer lol

Everyone thinks/thought they were plastic but you can see metal where I sanded.

As for color I'm not sure, it will most likely be a bright color. Maybe white, or a bright red. Not yellow or orange tho.

Yeah, wonder if mine were replaced and that's how?

Also I think I'm going with calypso green!

That will make a certain someone happy.

No problem man, if the thread becomes to big which I believe it will just pm me or ask.

I'm subscribed to this build of yours lol.

What's the regular spoiler? You mean factory lx? Over the saleen that was on it?
Yeah the lx, I'm not sure mine would look good on a calypso green hatch. I'll look into it tho

I loved it on my black gt tho

I think it will too, I do plan on logging just about everything I do so I can keep track. Really trying to do it write the first time and not spend unnecessary money. Which is why I'm also restoring all the moldings. They are in great shape just painted like **** and I'd rather not spend the 500$ or more to replace them when a few hours I can have them looking good as new.

Same thing here, removing basically everything that's not getting paint. And I think it will last longer/hold up longer.

I'm, going to wait on a motor for a few years or the itch gets bad enough. I'm starting to think this car has less than 50k on it. Not sure since odometer was swapped but the one they said was original said 35~k

I'll be watching this closely, I've been fixing mine slowly but don't plan on painting it until I do a new motor.
I second this.. luckily for me my car came with a prettysweet paint job but looking back at it all i would definenty wait for the last moment to paint it legitimate. A plasti dip for the mean time to calm my eyes for looking at the imperfections all the time is a cheap and reutable solution for me until i know for sure im done with the major mods.. then i dont have to beat my self up if i knick it with the jack handle or spill brake fluid or w.e might happen while putting in that late night redbull wrench time

So once you put a motor in it or are done with major mods which may never happen you'll never have to add fluid or jack the car up?
