ok so the smog pump is completly uneeded? and even if the a/c is disconected it still adds drag on the belt? and how would i go about findng the size of the belt once i pull that stuff off, if i pull it off? and how much power can removeing these free up? 5-10?

If you pull the AC off, you have to put something where the A/C is now, whether it be your power steering pump with an A/C delete kit, or a replacement pulley bracket.

The smog pump isn't needed to make the car run properly, but it is used to lower emissions. Also, if you still have your factory h-pipe with cats, the smog pump helps move air to the cats. I've heard that w/o the smog pump running it can cause cat. converter failure.

We just bought an offroad x-pipe.........gotta love Alabama and no emissions.

The AC gain is going to be very minimal if the AC isn't running. The smog pump again, will be minimal.

I would say 3-4hp, tops from the two of them.
