Used VHT Nightshade

Cleaned up and taped off ready for VHT

First coat

Second coat and one quick extra coat.

After sanding the Nightshade with 1000 grit before clear coat.

One on the left after 8 coats of clear. The right is after wet sanding clear with 2000 grit ready for polish.

After polishing.

On the car after a coat of wax.

For my first time using Nightshade, I think they came out pretty good. You can see some matte finish from the clear coat that I didnt sand down enough but this isn’t a showcar so it doesn’t need to be perfect.

Love the way it came out, will have to do this to my brake lights. Makes the rear end look mean.
Thanks. I’m buying a new smoked 3rd brake light as mine isn’t beyond repair. I’m currently smoking my fogs and should finish them tonight. I had to buy new smoked headlights because my weather stripping is gone and moisture is getting inside. They lasted 9yrs so I got my monies worth.
