not sure if this is where to post this but...

i recently purchased a 94 mustang gt with a 5 speed, after driving it a few days i realized the speedo was off. about +5mph off at 30, +10 at 45, and +15 at 70. The tires are the correct size listed in the manual, so i'm not sure what it could be besides a gear swap. Any help on if this would be the cause, and if so, how to fix it?

Sounds like the previous owner did a rear end gear swap but didn't correct the speedo. The degree of speedo error that you have tells me that the stock gear was a 3.08 and you now have a 3.73. You have two choices to fix it:

1. Install a Dallas Mustang Speedcal and program it to a 3.73 gear.
2. Replace the 8-tooth plastic drivegear on your T5 output shaft with a 7-tooth drivegear, and replace the stock 20-tooth speedo gear with a 21-tooth speedo gear.
