There you go. Run the MT's and watch your trap speed increase.
Isnt it usually the opposite tho?

I think he lacks the hp and mph to really benefit from a 28" and hes bringing the 4.10s down quite substantially. I say keep working with 26" but move to a bias ply tire.
The car makes 345whp on the dyno. Just trips me out that bolton cars trap higher

It's all about the whole combination. You may go faster with the smaller tire, you might not. You may go faster with the big tire, you might not. There is more to getting down the track than just HP. You have to find the right combo that works the best for you.

When your comparing yourself to other cars it's not an apples to apples comparison. Peak power numbers don't mean squat. Shape and size of your torque curve determines how much power you really have. That 345 hp is just a snapshot of your power curve. I can beat a 345 hp car with a peaky power curve, with a 300 hp car with a broad flat torque curve. it's all about usable torque within a certain rpm range that will determine how fast you are.

I think the dyno is being generous...trap speed tells you how much power you are making. I personally do not think you are making the power that sheet says you are.

What dyno was it? What correction is it? Who dynoed it?

Trap speed is king when it comes to power.....

You need to datalog your passes to find out what you or the car is doing and how it effects the ET and MPH. No more guessing if you have the tools to look.:serious:
