Hey, I got my Steeda adjustable 3rd link today, and I noticed that the bump stop wasn't on it. I called the place where I got it from, took pictures, emailed them, and they are sending out a different one.

Any ideas?? My stock one didn't have a bump stop, why would i need one on the new one? What does the bump stop do? And has anyone else run into this?

It looked like it was ground off at the welds and recoated..

Update!!!

So I just got off the phone with Alex (I think that was his name) at American Muscle, He called Steeda and talked to them about the missing bump stop. This is what he came up with, Steeda is now making them WITHOUT the bumpstop, so my part is just fine. My factory upper link didn't have a bump stop on it to begin with.. In some of the pictures on the install guide it shows the factory one WITH a bump stop. And on the American Muscle site the customer pics show the Steeda one with a bump stop.. Im not sure what the reason for the stop is, but it looks like its not need.

So, Top notch service from Alex at AM for getting back to me! Thank you!

If Chris from AM reads this, tell Alex thank you, and buy him lunch!!:D
