Recently took out the steering linkage for my headers install. After putting everything back together, there is a bit of a play. I even put the steering wheel in "sport" mode but there is that few inches left and right that's just loose. The wheels don't turn.

This just gets annoying on bumpy highways and it really doesn't give you much confidence if you are about to do some serious turning either on the moutains/autocross/etc.

Any thoughts?

Do a search if i remember correctly you may have installed it back wrong. Bolt from the other side or something like that.

Are you saying I might have the bolt switched?

I know when I took out the linkage, I marked one side so that I know the marked side faces the same way as before...hm...

I am doing research but not much success so far in finding a solution..
