I just bought a 2003 mustang GT, and It came with 2 keys and 2 alarm "clickers" or "fobs" as some call them. The girl I bought it from said it was not an alarm but it only locked and unlocked the doors. .. But I thought it was just a stock alarm ..

So which is it? is it a simple keyless entry? or alarm

It's what's known as a 'passive' alarm as opposed to an 'active' alarm. The alarm will sound if someone unlocks the doors without the key or the remote (it does alittle more too, but I can't remember). An active alarm will have shock sensors in it and will sound if the car is struck. You can also hook up proxemity (spelling?) sensors to an active alarm. Very usefull if you have a Vert especially.

Quick way to make sure is to roll the driver window down, close all the doors, hood, trunk and lock it with your remote. Wait about 30 seconds and then reach in the car and unlock it manually and open the door, if your horn sounds, you have the alarm, if it doesn't then you don't.
