I'm getting some sub frame connectors for my 13 GT. My question is that steeda has some they call the torque box brace which tie together the inner/outer frame rails and control arm mount, is that all that is necessary or should I get a set like BMR or the Lakewood? I'm looking for something that will help in the turns as well as stiffen it up for drag racing.

My steeda braces arrive this week! Think the bmr's must be welded in iirc. Will give you an update after I install them this weekend.

You can weld the steeda braces in to if you want from what their site says. I was planning on welding mine in regardless of which ones I get.

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone that has done subframe connectors. On the S197 they aren't as important as in previous years.

from what i've read, the S197 chassis doesn't need full length sub connectors like the past models, that's why the steeda's only brace in the torque boxes. save weight and not brace what doesn't need bracing.
