I recently sold my procharger setup to pick up a tork tech kit, and I was hoping I could enlist some of the guys on here who have done the install to help answer some questions for me.

I have ordered/purchased:

-Intercooled tork tech kit
-ported eaton with plenum, throttle body, cobra throttle cable and bracket.
-Cobra maf
-stock cobra intake with cold air kit
-stock cobra h/e with lines, and brackets.
-intercooler pump with bracket
-intercooler reservoir

Items left to order:

-pigtail for intercooler pump
-belt
-Iat2 sensor

Here are my questions:

What have you guys wired into for the intercooler pump? Obviously something that comes on with the key, but I am hoping I don't have to run 47' of wire to get there....

Planning on running a 3.1 pulley with this ported blower, should put me between 400-425 at the wheels. Will the stock cobra maf be enough?

Any other items I have missed?'

Stock bottom end car, for now.

Plans are blower cams and built shortblock this winter.

Ported heads and Whipple in the future.

Thanks, Pate!

For the pump I put my relay on a stud by the intake. I ran the trigger off a keyswitch 12V add a fuse in the passenger compartment. You can tuck it in with the harness that goes across the front of the car.

The Cobra MAF should be fine. Even running the 2.76 pulley is within range for it.
Awesome. Would rather spend that $100 on a belt for the blower.

Pros and cons of each kit?

Well for me, I will be making the same power as I was the PISC, with the Eaton. The blow off got old to me, and I like the instant power with the PD blowers.

Mostly preference, for me. I know power can be made with both, but I originally wanted a tork tech when I added boost 2 years ago. The prices are coming down on the used kits, so I jumped at the opportunity to pick one up.

Dan you can use one of those quick splice connector to hook onto any wire without cutting it. Do you know the ones I'm referring to?

I try to avoid those since they only seem to work half the time, and sometimes cause the wire to eventually fail. I prefer solder for that type of joint.

Of course the type I used was the "add a fuse" which also allows you to disable it by pulling the fuse, and current protect it.

Good choice for YOU cause half of what you do seems to work most of the time anyhow.:swordfight::swordfight:

You fellas are just too much, sometimes :grin2:

Pate, I have a box of those sitting on the shelf. Used them to get power to all of my gauges!

Parts are rolling in, and I hope to have it 90% together this weekend.

Mod Nationals are in Memphis September 2, so I'd like to have the car together and tuned by then....might be a stretch:crying:

Looks like all will be delivered by Friday, so I will start updating this thread with pics.

I guess I'll turn this into a build thread, although I doubt it will become the staple that Pate and Wicked's have turned into LOL

I think I have to make more than 400hp for that to happen anyway..........one day.
