does it have the mach system?
and whats your budget?
and how long is your penis?
Try a good 10' woofer in a ported box with around 300-400 watts. If you came into my shop and asked, I would recomend a Kicker CVR 10 in a ported box custom built to fit your trunk with a ZX300.1 amp to power it. Parts and labor would be around $625 tax included.
So you want to be heard from blocks away huh? Well, I have 2 10" Alpine Type Rs run with a decent amount of power, and it sounds good, doesn't quite set off alarms though.

If setting off alarms is what you want, you need 2 12s in a custom box. If you have the money go with JL W7s or RE Audio and sufficient power.

reading fail :p
If it was me, a decent head unit, reasonable set of components in the front end and a single 10 or 12 (I'm a fan of a single twelve but a 10 is fine) A good 4 channel amp can ran the comps and bridge the rear channels for the sub or the like. Another key to good sound is keeping it in the car, so sound dampening makes a huge difference in the end.
get rid of the speakers in the rear deck, get some nice components for the front, and a ported 10 or 12 in the trunk. if you listen to mostly rap your probably gonna want to go ported

dont skimp on the sub either

these things pound and are pretty cheap compared to something like jl. they sound just about as good too.

if you want a lil thump i would go wit a 12 but if you also listen 2 rock and country i would go wit a 10 a 12 cant keep up wit the bass in rock songs as much as a 10 can id suggest a 10in alpine type e doesnt hurt your pockets and its amazing sound quaility of it hittin the lows mids and highs but it also varys on what amp you get and as for a head unit if u like clear and u like 2 tune it your self pioneer hands down they have some of the most tuneable headunits on the market
throw u 1 12" subs in there with some componants,an a good headunit an amp an be done

thats not true. an 8 and a 18 have the same capabilities. they can play just as fast. they can play the same notes, one doesnt play lower then the other. the size of the driver doesnt limit what it can do.
Very true. For proof, go to a rock concert and look at the stacks behind the band. Most are JBJ, Peavy, or a few others. And most use 15's or 18's with a crap load of power. That's what makes them loud. And have you ever listened to Metallica's "One" on a really kick-butt system? My former '02 GT had two Kicker CompVR 12's that could whale on that song, and others.

that question can be answered with any size. i had 1 15" cerwin vega vmax on a kenwood amp. forgot how many watts. in my 95 convertible and it sounded pretty good with any music i put on it.... sealed box with about 1.5 cu. ft. (threw it together in like 30 minutes)

They are better than JL audio, Audioque subwoofers are absolutely top of the line and the best quality one could wish for. Get one sd2.5 12 inch ported and you will be heard down the block with enough amp.
